The Cambridge International AS & A Level program is an internationally recognized senior secondary education qualification offered to students typically aged 16–19, designed to provide in-depth academic knowledge, critical thinking, analytical skills, and global competence for higher education and future careers. It builds on the Cambridge curriculum’s rigorous structure and prepares learners to thrive in dynamic, global learning environments.

The Cambridge pathway is structured in two main stages:
• AS Level: Usually completed in one academic year, covering the first half of the subject syllabus.
• A Level: A comprehensive two-year program in total — beginning with AS Level then progressing to full A Level content, equipping students with deep subject expertise and readiness for university-level study.

Yes. Cambridge International AS & A Level qualifications are accepted globally by universities and higher education institutions in more than 160 countries, including India, the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Many top universities treat these qualifications as equivalent to local senior secondary credentials, and they can often support advanced placement or credit recognition at university entry.

Students are assessed primarily through externally moderated written examinations at the end of each course, with grades awarded from A (highest) to E (minimum pass)* for A Level subjects. For some subjects and schools, additional assessments may include practicals, coursework or project work, depending on syllabus requirements and Cambridge guidelines. Results reflect a student’s subject mastery and readiness for future academic or professional pursuits.

Students have access to a diverse selection of more than 55 Cambridge AS & A Level subjects, allowing them to tailor their learning pathway according to interests, strengths, and future goals. Students can combine subjects across sciences, humanities, languages, and business streams for a personalized academic profile.
